The Scope of Work for this Contract includes Construction Management, Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, Installation Testing and Commissioning of all equipment for the completion for MAF Transit House Accommodation Blocks at Mina Al Fahal as per specification, documents, condition of contract and all other obligations of Contractor under this Contract.
The broad scope of facility to be constructed includes
1. Rock cutting and clearing and disposing of approximately 5200 cu m of earth
2. Rerouting of existing roads and drain lines
3. Demolition of redundant lighting poles and cables
4. Construction of 36 three bed room apartments in 3 blocks of 5 floors each, with total built up area of approximately 9000 sq m of living accommodation and 2140 sq m of car parking area
5. Construction of swimming pool of size 20 m X 9.75 m with change room and plant room facilities
6. Soft and hard landscaping
The Work comprises the following four work packages summarized below:
a. Construction Project Management
Provision for the Contractor's organisation and Key Personnel for effective and safe execution of the construction work to ensure completion of the project as specified, on time and within budget. It includes facilities, access for and services to Company and other sub-contractors/suppliers, fulfilment of all planning, co-ordination, control, administration, reporting, quality assurance, HSE Management and management of interfaces.
b. Procurement
Tendering, purchasing, expediting, QA/QC, transportation, storage and material control, maintenance and preservation of the materials.
c. Construction
All temporary and permanent work including procurement of materials and arranging for tools, tackles, equipments, scaffolding, machinery, transportation and manpower necessary to fabricate, build, construct and connect the hook-up services and associated facilities.
d. Testing and Commissioning
All work associated with the Testing and Commissioning of the hook-up services and ancillary facilities including
