Q How do I join Online Public Tendering System?
A Click on the ‘Not a Member, Click Here’ link in the log in screen. It is located in the username and password box.
   
Q What is the fee for joining the Online Public Tendering System?
A It costs you nothing to join the system, nothing to browse through the tenders, and nothing to manage your applications. The system is currently free of charge to the vendor. However, you must pay PDO to obtain access to the Tender Documents.
   
Q How can I get rid of the Security warning that pops up when trying to logon?
A Your can install OTN's Root Certificate Authority by clicking the link below to avoid the Security warning dialog box. http://www.otn.com.om/installca.htm
   
Q Why is it important to logoff?
A Once you have signed in to Open Tendering System you have begun an “active session”. If you walk away during the course of an “active session”, someone else can use your computer to perform transactions involving your account. It is similar to walking away from an ATM while your card is still in the machine. For security the System will automatically end your session if there is no activity on your computer for about 20 minutes. However, to eliminate any exposure, it is always better for you to end the “active session” by selecting “Logoff”.
   
Q I haven't received my confirmation email yet. Who should I contact?
A Reasons: You may have entered a wrong email address or had a problem with your email account—make sure it's not over its storage capacity.
